Ingredients:

CINNAMON FILLING:
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, just melted (not boiling)
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon

CREAM CHEESE GLAZE:
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
2-ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

PANCAKES:
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon canola or vegetable oil

Directions:

Prepare the cinnamon filling: In a medium bowl, stir together the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Scoop the filling into a quart-sized heavy zip baggie and set it aside (see *Tips below).

Prepare the glaze: In a small pan, heat the butter over low heat until melted. Turn off the heat and whisk in the cream cheese until it is almost smooth. Sift the powdered sugar into the pan, stir and add in vanilla extract. Set the pan aside while you make the pancakes.

Prepare the pancake batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk in the milk, egg and oil, just until the batter is moistened (a few small lumps are fine).

Cook the pancakes: Heat a large, nonstick skillet over medium-heat and spray with nonstick spray. Use an ice cream scoop (or 1/3 cup measuring cup) to add the batter to the pan. Use the bottom of the scoop or cup to spread the batter into a circle (about 4-inches in diameter). Reduce the heat to medium low. Snip the corner of your baggie of cinnamon filling and squeeze the filling into the open corner. When your pancake begins to form bubbles, add the filling. Starting at the center of the pancake, squeeze the filling on top of the pancake batter in a swirl (just as you see in a regular cinnamon roll). Cook the pancake 2 to 3 minutes, or until the bubbles begin popping on top of the pancake and it’s golden brown on the bottom. Slide a thin, wide metal spatula underneath the pancake and gently but quickly flip it over. Cook an additional 2 to 3 minutes, until the other side is golden as well. When you flip the pancake onto a plate, you will see that the cinnamon filling has created a crater-swirl of cinnamon. Wipe out the pan with a paper towel, and repeat with the remaining pancake batter and cinnamon filling. Re-warm the glaze briefly, if needed. Serve pancakes topped with a drizzle of glaze.

Aaaalrighty :3 Time for people to be getting ready with suit design ideas.

I’m officially opening up the Fall Makers Choice (yeah yeah, I know it’s still summer, but I’m picking it the first day of fall :D), which will be a super scaled down version of my original Grand Opening contest.

What this is~

The chance to get a Light Partial fursuit (Head, Hand paws, and a Tail) for $150, plus whatever shipping will be.

There is no color limit, design limitation, species black outs or anything.

HOWEVER, The ONLY reference I will be using is whatever reference you give me for the contest. ONE image. If part of the costume is not shown in the image, I’ll be figuring that part out myself.

I’ll also be trying to match the STYLE the picture is drawn in as close as I can, so, be sure that the image that you give is the style you’d like the suit to be done in, and that’s not just Toony versus Realistic. I’ll be attempting the ARTISTS style as well.

All choices on what materials, constuction style, and furs used will also by my choice.

Full payment will need to be made within one week of the winners announcement.

The timeframe for completion of this suit won’t be untill 2013, sometime between January and March, so, a 3 month window.

What I’ll be looking for this round~

Or in other words, the theme XD

Back to Nature

Now, what does this mean? Good question. That’s up for you to interpret and try to capture. Take it as literal or abstract as you want to. :3 I’m going to try not to comment on any of the entries, so this will be anybodies game.
What this DOESN’T mean is that if the image you’re entering is just a wolf, that it won’t have a chance to win. This is a fully open contest for character designs and stuff, but adding the theme might make it a bit more…. interesting.

RULES TIME :D

* ONE(1) entry per person. You can use your entry as a gift for someone else, but that will still count for your one entry.
* When you post your entry, you must ALSO post a JOURNAL or SUBMISSION advertisement for this contest. If you choose to make a submission advertisement, you may use any of the images from THIS GALLERY to make a collage so it’s not just a ‘Text on a blank background’ picture.
* DO NOT DISCOURAGE OTHERS FROM ENTERING. I feel I shouldn’t need to post this, but if any time I feel someone is harassing/discouraging other entrants, I will remove your entry from the journal.
* Again, PAYMENT NEEDS TO BE MADE WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE END OF THE CONTEST. If payment isn’t made within that time frame, I will choose a Runner Up.
* JOURNAL ENTRIES ONLY. DO NOT NOTE ME AN ENTRY.
* Please mark Adult References as such. I don’t always check my FA when I’m at home, so, sudden dog dick on the screen is a little embarrassing if I’m at, oh, I don’t know, a cafe’. :I Just sayin. XD

How to Enter!

Bet you’ve been waiting for this bit right here, huh :D

Fill this out:

Character Name:
Character Species:
Character Gender:
ONE Image Reference:
Advertisement Link:

And post it to the Journal linked above.

Well, I think that’s it for now. Please note, rules and such may change slightly as this goes on, but I’ll be sure to post up announcements as they happen, but for now, GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

:3

I must ask are your costume commissions open? (looking to have a head made) I will submit a Quote form <3 Also, your work is lovely and I adore your style

Yep :3 They’re open for completion dates starting late January 2013 to late March 2013. *I’ll get back to ya with a quote in a little while :3*

Oh my god I'm in love with your suits! Question though, will you only be doing the resin bases for a certain amount of time (e.g. only for a few months or weeks)? I'd love to order one but I have no pocket money to my name right now ;_;

As long as I’ve got the molds in tact, I’ll be able to do resin bases :3 I’ll probably be updating the shapes every couple of months, though, or as I need to make a new mold.

Resin base prices:

Uncut/raw: $50

Cut/Hinged/padded: $75

Note me on FA: Ligercraftsuits OR E-mail me at LigerSprinkles@live.com to get a quote with shipping

Custom sculpted bases start at $100 :3
